Reflections of His Unfailing Love

Last Monday I returned from my first trip as an official Shiloh Place staff member!  I'll be honest, I didn't know what to fully expect but was excited for the opportunity. Back in May, I took a very short, last-minute trip with Trisha, a co-founder of Shiloh Place, to Virginia.  It was the final confirmation for Chip and I that we wanted to pursue raising support and working with Shiloh Place part time.  This most recent trip confirmed that God is in the midst of it all! During the last week in June, Trisha let me know that she was going to need a dog sitter for her upcoming trip to Michigan in July. Those of you at the beach know this has become a regular part of our life here.  She also mentioned she still needed a driver.  At the time, I didn't think much about it as I knew the timing wouldn't work for my schedule, and we didn't have any support yet to offset the time away.  As the next week progressed, we completed our letter and prepared to send it ...

Welcome to our blog! Katie and I are thrilled to have you along for this ride and we intend to keep you up to date on what we are in the midst of and what God is doing in our lives and through us in the lives of others! The past few years have been a whirlwind of ups and downs and in-betweens, but we can look back and see God's hand at work in and through us individually and as a couple. God has refreshed us and sustained us - constantly reminding us of His unconditional and unfailing love. We have a burning desire to share His love with others as we walk out the calling we believe He has for our lives. From the beginning, our relationship has been centered around faith and worship, actually meeting through the worship team at a church in Fredericksburg, VA. Since that time, God has continually stoked a fire in our hearts to see His Church worship in Spirit and truth, and   to understand and experience our Heavenly Father's love in a personal way. Dear Friends and Family, Katie and I hope you are well and are enjoying the summer weather! While there is no longer much of an off-season here (this is now one of the fastest growing counties in the country), the buzz and excitement of summer vacationers, events and activities across the Grand Strand is growing by the day. The past several years have been quite an experience for us transitioning from our lives in Virginia to working in ministry positions in Myrtle Beach. Throughout the ups and downs, God has been and always is good and faithful. We have shared some of what has been going on but we wanted to send out an update about another new and exciting chapter. Katie and I work part-time at Seacoast Vineyard Church in Myrtle Beach; Katie is the administrative assistant and assistant facilities director and I am the media and tech pastor.
